A cosy nest for your short getaway!

The 4-star Schloss Tangermünde Hotel is nestled within the strong, ancient walls of the old castle. Surrounded by wonderful, lush grounds, it spans a total area of 6000m2.

Due to the architecture of the individual houses, no two rooms here are the same.

Whether this means having a fantastic view of the Elbe and being in direct proximity to our restaurant, 1699, or only having a short walk to our Kaisertherme spa area with a stay in the summer houses. All rooms have been designed with great attention to detail and make use of a warm colour palette, providing you with a real sense of comfort during your short getaway.

Our luxurious outbuilding, the Queen Louise Annexe, is located right next door to the castle complex. It is so named because Louise, the Queen of Prussia herself, once spent a night in this 17th-century town house. Today, the annexe is home to our 3-star superior standard rooms, which offer you the same all-round services as our 4-star establishment.

And for those who would like even more peace and seclusion, our “Bird’s Nest” residence, located directly by the Chapter Tower and featuring its own sauna and terrace overlooking the Elbe, offers the perfect spa holiday.
